Draft — being reviewed before launch. Questions: mnmncoda@gmail.com.
Who we are
bookedwith.me — pro sites (at yourname.bookedwith.me), booking and payments — is run by Kevon Knight, doing business as bookedwith.me (“we”). These terms apply to pros who use it and to clients who book or pay through it. By creating an account, booking, or paying, you agree to them.
Accounts
- You must be 18 or older to hold an account. A parent or guardian books for anyone under 18 and is responsible for that booking.
- Keep your sign-in details to yourself. You’re responsible for what happens on your account.
- One account works across bookedwith.me: your site and your bookings.
For pros
- Your site, booking tools and shop are free to use. You’re responsible for your work, your prices, your policies, and holding any licence your work needs and following the health rules where you work.
- The policies you set (deposits, reschedules, cancellations, refunds) are shown to your clients and are between you and them.
- Your handle (yourname.bookedwith.me) is yours while your account is active. We may reclaim handles that impersonate someone or break these terms.
Payments
- Card payments run on Stripe. To get paid by card, a pro connects a Stripe account (Stripe’s own terms apply). Money is paid to the pro’s bank by Stripe; bookedwith.me doesn’t hold it.
- Pros: each card payment carries a payments fee of 3.5% + $0.30, or 3.2% on card volume past $10,000 in a calendar month. It covers card processing, payouts and the booking service, and comes off the payout.
- Clients: card payments carry a booking fee of about 1.5% ($1 to $8), shown before you pay. Some pros cover it for you. The booking fee isn’t refundable unless the pro cancels.
- Pros may also take deposits their own way (for example Cash App or Venmo). Those payments are between the pro and the client, and bookedwith.me isn’t part of them.
- Refunds and disputes: refunds follow the pro’s posted policy and come out of the pro’s share. If a client disputes a card payment, we may take the disputed amount and Stripe’s dispute fee from the pro’s balance or future payouts.
What you upload and create
- You keep the rights to your photos and content. You give us permission to store, show and process them only to run the service for you (for example, to show your site).
- Only upload what you have the right to use. Posting another pro’s photos as your own work isn’t allowed.
- Photos of clients are personal data. Only upload them with the client’s permission.
- We may remove content that is illegal, infringes someone’s rights, or breaks these terms.
Not allowed
- Fraud, fake bookings, or taking payments for work you won’t do.
- Harassing clients or pros, or collecting their details for other purposes.
- Trying to break, overload or reverse-engineer the services, or using them to make content that’s illegal.
Ending your account
You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. Money owed to a pro for completed card payments is still paid out, less refunds and disputes.
Our responsibility
We work hard to keep the services running, but they’re provided as they are, without guarantees of being uninterrupted or error-free. We aren’t party to the service service between pro and client. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Changes and contact
We’ll tell you about material changes before they take effect. These terms are governed by the laws of Georgia, USA. Questions: mnmncoda@gmail.com.
